Sending a little love...

to one of the designers I create for. I am starting off the new and improved...OK the UPDATED Gone Scrap Crazy by showing off some stuff I have creating for GRETCHEN TRIPP!! She was one of the first people that took a chance and invited me to be on her Creative Team. I LOVE to create with Gretchen's items. Her kits are so versatile and I love that I can pull from her other other kits and so many work together. Gretchen's kits can be found here:

http://www.elementalscraps.com/shoppe/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=16

Here is a sampling of some layouts I have done using Gretchen Amazing Kits!

This is the second of two layouts I created for Gretchen Tripp's Creative Team using her Be Still kit. I LOVE this kit. It is so versatile and has some great elements. My niece insisted on me taking this picture of her holding and Easter Egg...I really didn't want the Egg in this picture Our sweet niece Cassidy. She is such a pumpkin and we just love her to pieces. Photo taken on Easter Sunday 2007.

Gretchen Tripp's Be Still Kit; I also used Katie Pertiet's Fabric Flowers and recolored it. I also used Katie's notebook papers and folded cardboard corner, K Mccombs Spiralicious swirls.

This is one of two layout's I created using Gretchen Tripp's Be Still kit as part of her creative team. It was absolutely perfect for my Nephew's Confirmation pictures. I simply love this great kit!! My nephew is such a good kid. His faith is very important to him and it was such a pleasure to be able to share his special day with him..... Sheldon on his confirmation day with his gorgeous cake. Sheldon is such a special boy, so talented and totally irreplaceable and one special Nephew.

Everything on here is Gretchen's Be Still kit with a few exceptions.; Safety pin Tag Katie Pertiet's and the Stacked photo frames.; Fonts used: Jackson Junior Sans
Times New Roman
I am smitten with this layout. I actually did this for a challenge at one of my scrapbooking sites. The challenge was to use a Clock on a layout......and well.....

This is also a layout I did for my Grandmother. This was taken at her 100th Birthday party in January, so I am going to have it printed and frame it for her for Christmas this year.

As always, thanks for stopping by and taking a peak at my layouts....many more to come.......see ya around.

Well...I am back....

two months later and I think I have finally put my finger on what I want this blog to be. I want it to be a place to advertise for my CT's and favorite designers. So stayed tuned and watch for some exciting stuff.

I am so honored to "work" for the awesome people I do and now it is my turn to buckle down and tell all of you just how great they are....or rather show u!!

STAYED TUNED!!
Just a layout I created for a duel purpose. As CT work and for my Book of Me....

Journaling: For my Book of Me the challenge question was.......scrapbook about your addiction(s) I thought it was racing until I read the definition.....”An addiction is a recurring compulsion by an individual to engage in some specific activity, despite harmful consequences to the individuals health, mental state or social life.” After reading this, I decided that there is no addiction here. Serious or fun, the nearest addiction I have is food, but even I can control that. I have decided that I am addicted to life....to being alive and living each moment....probably the greatest addiction one can have.

A picture of Ron and I in Mexico this past Winter. I love this photo.....kind of dorky, but still love it.

Journaling: There is no one that I would rather spend time with than you and each moment with you is something special. Mexico, 2007

I did these layouts using some pictures that I swore I would never scrap. These are all pictures I took out of our airplane window before we left Cancun and just shortly after we got into the air. I didn't realize how much I loved the one that is pictured below. So here they are completely scrapped and done. Yeah!!

Doing a layout about myself isn't always easy. I did this layout for one of my CT Assignments. I used my favorite Quote "Life is Team Sport" and wrote just a little bit about me. In a weird sort of way I really like this layout. It turned out better than I thought it would.

GREAT STUFF at Treasures to Scrap!

HOW exciting is this???? Treasures to Scrap is having it's DIGITAL store GRAND OPENING on August, 6th. If your a digi scrapper, mark your calendar and visit TTS. They have awesome designers over at TTS! Check it out!

I recently created these two layouts using papers and embellishments from Dawn Inskip's Secret Garden kit. This kit is available for purchase at www.kjoistudios.com beside that, site owner Kara Jones and other designers have some awesome stuff in the store. I am having alot of fun being on Kara's Creative Team and have had fun designing with the items available in the K-Joi store.
I also used Corked items from Paula Duncan. Paula's Corked Items as well as all her other kicking kits are available at www.sweetshoppedesigns.com Stop over and visit Paula's Store. I have found endless uses for that cork! I LOVE that stuff! Participated in a Creative Team challenge using the cork and ended up creating 14 different layouts with it!
I did these layouts about my favorite dirt drivers. It seems that some of my favorite layouts are my racing ones. Oh Imagine that :)

Pictured in the pictures are My nieces Alicia and Cassidy, My Mom Gloria, My Sister-in-law Barb and me! :)

I did this layout about my Sister-in-law for the Paula Duncan Design Team. I SOOOO love this great kit, but I also love this layout. I also loved what I wrote: I am very proud to say that she is married to my brother. I have known my sister-in-law for nearly 2o years now and I can honestly say that she adds alot to my life. She is a tremendous wife and mother. She is such a good person, she works hard, she is very smart and always is willing to help out when she can. I know I can ask for advice or ask assitance. I love my Sister-in-law! She Rocks!

Here is my second layout I did for Gretchen's Creative Team using the Admirable Kit. I also did this one because this picture of John and Mindy is just so cute! I just snapped this of them before they went into their reception. Are they not the cutest!
I created this layout for Gretchen Tripp Designs Creative Team. It is also a layout I was inspired to do after seeing this photo of Krissy and I at John and Mindy's wedding on my camera. Love you Krissy and I really do love this layout!

I am bound and determined to get my Mexico Album done and I am well on my way....here is another layout using some of my pictures from the trip. This one just happens to be a layout about Ron and I. I like this layout...ALOT!

Monday, April 9, 2007

I really really really had a blast with this layout. I enjoyed every moment of creating this because I really did journal alot about me that might surprise people.......
I love to Write
I have Dyslexia
I go crazy driving an ATV
I have owned two businesses of my own
I use to love to run
Cheap Trick is on my I-Pod
I was a size 9

A page for my Mexico Album.
Travel Notes to self......really had another great time with this!
1. Make sure your bag is the one on the top.
2. This is not a ergonomically safe way to transport luggage
3.Tip this guy....ALOT!
4. Ask “Is this an industrial strength luggage cart?”
5. Throw out all the black luggage
6. Pink tags DO NOT help your luggage stand out!
7. Think of this poor guy when you just have to pack “one more pair of shoes”.
8. Finally the number one note to self....If you are tired of hunting...BUY A COLORFUL SET OF LUGGAGE!
I really really love this layout. I have NO idea why but it is one of my favorites. I did this for a challenge at one of my scrapbooking sites and it just ended up this way.

I enjoyed doing this layout about our Godson Eric. When I saw him clutching those toys I just knew that was worthy of a photo.

Sunday, February 4, 2007

This layout was just fun for me....I didn't want it to be too fancy....just kind of us...and it is....a little fun and certainly not formal.

Sunday, January 7, 2007

This is my favorite Layout of 07 so far :) I had such a blast creating this layout and such a blast on New Years Eve with my friends. This one probably will go into my album first :)

There is a major story behind this picture. I LOVE Nebraska Football and I have loved lots of Nebraska players but none more than Brooke Berringer. When Brooke was killed I was crushed. So during football season. I made sure I got to the statue erected in his memory at the North side of the stadium. I LOVE this picture.....if I just would have had the oppotunity to meet Brooke in person.
